Kadie Bug

Alaina is my six year old daughter, BUG. Her best friend Kadie lives next door and they play together often. Kadie was just recently diagnosed with juvenile diabetes or type 1 diabetes. We have seen the several "finger pokes" and been there for the insulin shots. Kadie is a bug too. A cute sweet child that we hold dear. I have added her here as some of you have heard about Kadie from us and others need to know. This is a big deal and it is a great feeling to do even a little part to help.

If you are or will be in town, let us know we would love for you to join the team. The walk is at the Niabi zoo this year.

Our family has joined the walk. We invite you to please donate or at least view the site to support Kadie and the other children facing this disease. Here is the link to help our team in the upcoming walk:

Christmas in January

This is older but i am new to this and still want you all to see this. so enjoy.

We finally broke in the new apartment with it's first X-mas...about time. Our little tree was a perfect fit and was surrounded when we got home.

It was the beginning of January, but the kids were just coming home from Christmas with Daddy. A perfect time to go with the flow. We had 2 Christmases. Luke and Alaina came home to presents from Santa and Mommy. It didn't take long for them both to dig in. With paper flying and grins shining we kicked it off with barbies and cars galore.

Luke just loves, robots and aliens. This was a great year. Transformers were huge and santa even found a different alien robot. The "Bumblebee" toys were a must this year. They were all my little Tater would talk about. This even turn into actual toy cars. Took us a while to switch back and forth but it keeps us all busy and making alot of car and robot noises.

It was the beginning of January, but the kids were just coming home from Christmas with Daddy. A perfect time to go with the flow. We had 2 Christmases. Luke and Alaina came home to presents from Santa and Mommy, not mention other family as well. It didn't take long for them both to dig in. With paper flying and grins shining we kicked it off with barbies and cars galore. The kids had a huge christmas.

More barbies, clothes, and art supplies. The only thing more fun than getting dressed up is doing it to get dirty. lol... We love to color and do crafts. Now that Lanie is older this is how we spend nap time. So comfy clothes and more supplies were an awesome addition this year.

Meet the TaterBug

This is a special name i have come up with for the kids. Luke is now 4 and is Tater. Only mommy can call him this, but he loves it. Alaina is 6 and called Bug. When she was younger she was afraid of bugs then earned the nickname of Lanie Bug. It has evolved to Lady Bug and then just Bug. What more could I want, a blond a brunette, a lover and a fighter. They can both be a bit dramatic, but those moments are rare. It is so hard to pick just one picture to show them. But you will all have plenty of time to get to know us better. Love to all who have waited for this to finally get started. And welcome to those we haven't seen in a while.
